| Duties: | The TM position represents and sells Trane HVAC equipment to residential and light commercial contractors. The TM position is responsible for helping Trane contractors improve the profitability of their businesses through profit improvement planning and systematic implementation of plans. The TM position is responsible for finding new customers. The TM is the first line of communication with customers on Trane equipment and basic application information. The work environment is collaborative, and open input and dialogue are welcomed. Attends sales meetings and reviews sales activity and progress monthly with management. Maintains records of sales and account activity, customer information, and requests. Works on team projects. |
| Qualifications: | Basic knowledge of HVAC equipment and systems
Basic HVAC application knowledge (load calculation and basic airflow)
Basic computer skills (Word and Excel)
2 years of successful sales experience
In-home retail selling experience is a plus
High School graduate
College degree is a plus, but not essential
Possess a “serving the customer” orientation
Must be a determined individual
Good organizational skills are important
Must be a good communicator, including a good listener
Must work well in a team environment
Must have the self discipline to do what needs to be done when no one is pushing you to get things done
Ability to make presentations to small groups
