As a building system integrator, Convergentz (formerly known as Hunton Trane BAS) is focused on providing open protocol technology, Trane factory integrated systems, and comprehensive facility management solutions to our customers. Convergentz is brand agnostic and currently offers several different control line options as required to meet our customer’s needs.
Ever since Trane developed our first integrated controls to manage comfort and energy use, Trane controls have grown steadily in functionality and sophistication. While our controls are not limited to HVAC equipment, they are engineered to reflect our deep understanding of HVAC requirements and how to use HVAC systems more efficiently.
As Trane's OEM representative for Southeast Texas, our Convergentz team provides:
•Complete support from design through installation, warranty and service
•Systems designed to be forward and backward compatible, so that no existing customers are excluded from "new technology" and improvements

The Sales Engineer works as a technical sales consultant to engineers, architects, contractors and/or owners/developers in the design, application and sales of access controls, video surveillance, and integrated building management systems for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings.
Designs and sells Access Controls & Video Surveillance (Security) Solutions.
Collects, organizes, and assembles data for reports and presentations.
Prepares financial solutions for customers as needed.
Responds to customer needs by identifying systems, products, generating quotes and closing orders.
Develops multiple relationships with key players in the customer's organization, including C-suite executives, IT Directors, and 3rd party consultants.
Conducts price estimates and quotations for projects.
Conducts customer visits and customer events to build relationships with key accounts.
Monitors and tracks quoted projects and current orders.
Conducts formal presentations and training sessions with customer groups.
Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
Must have necessary security certifications.
Will support Technology Sales/Design Team as required to develop “turn-key” integrated Connected Real Estate projects. Assist with CAPEX and OPEX analysis.
|Qualifications:||Minimum requirements include the following:|
Ability to effectively present information to customers, top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Bachelor's in Engineering or Computer Science Degree (or equivalent) from a four-year College or University. (U.S. Military Experience a plus!)
5+ Years experience in a Security Sales position.Experience with Vykon & Tridium products
